Background
The Faculty of Arabic Language is one of the faculties in Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali which was established by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah on 1st January 2007. The courses in the faculty are taught in Arabic by highly qualified local and international academic staff with distinctive qualifications and specializations in Linguistics, Arabic Language, Literature and Translation.
Objectives
- To provide the students with appropriate knowledge in the fields of Arabic Language, Literature and Translation;
- To produce knowledgeable, skillful, and pious graduates in their specialised areas in order to fulfill the aspirations of the country as well as regional and international needs;
- To produce distinguished Muslim scholars and researchers in the fields of Arabic Language, Literature and Translation.
