Sabtu 10hb Jun 2023 – Ahli Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC) di bawah fakulti Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) bersama dengan 20 orang sukarelawan yang terdiri daripada mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) telah berjaya mengadakan program “Jalinan Kasih bersama SMARTER Brunei” yang bertempat di Kampung Perpindahan Mata-Mata, Gadong.
Program dimulakan dengan kehadiran ahli-ahli Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC) serta para sukarelawan. Seterusnya, program diikuti dengan sesi pencerahan daripada Yang Mulia, Nur’Aliahtul Mumtazah @ Nur’Masitah Binti Suhhardie, ahli Unit Kebajikan dan Kemasyarakatan, Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC) mengenai aktiviti dan peraturan yang harus dipatuhi selama aktiviti berlangsung. Program diteruskan dengan sesi pemanasan badan yang diketuai oleh Yang Mulia, Muhammad Shafiq bin Iskandar, ahli Unit Logistik dan Rekreasi, Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC).
Setelah itu, majlis didahului dengan bacaan Surah al-Fatihah yang diketuai oleh Yang Mulia, Muhammad Akmal Faiz Bin Jamal, Setiausaha Unit Dakwah dan Tarbiyyah, Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC). Program tersebut diteruskan dengan ucapan alu-aluan oleh Yang Mulia, Hana Hazirah binti Abdullah Abdul Aziz, Ketua Unit Kebajikan dan Kemasyarakatan, Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC), diikuti dengan ucapan dari Yang Mulia Afdah binti Haji Mahadi, wakil bagi Presiden SMARTER Brunei. Kemudian, program diteruskan lagi dengan sesi penyerahan sijil penghargaan daripada pihak Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC) kepada pihak SMARTER Brunei.
Majlis pembukaan program tersebut diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai di antara ahli-ahli Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC), para sukarelawan, guru-guru dan penuntut-penuntut SMARTER.
Antara pengisian program tersebut ialah aktiviti bersama penuntut-penuntut SMARTER yang mana aktiviti-aktiviti yang telah diadakan ialah berbentuk riadah seperti dance and freeze, emotion card, dan mewarna. Selain daripada itu, Ahli Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC) bersama-sama sukarelawan juga turut mengadakan kempen kebersihan di persekitaran bangunan, seperti bilik-bilik darjah, taman permainan, ruang makan, kolam renang, dan halaman belakang institusi tersebut. Pada penghujung acara tersebut pihak Persatuan Mahasiswa Syari’ah dan Undang-Undang (SHALAWSOC) menyerahkan barang-barang sumbangan daripada pihak Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) kepada SMARTER Brunei diikuti dengan sesi bergambar ramai.
PRESS RELEASE FOR COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME ‘JALINAN KASIH BERSAMA SMARTER BRUNEI.’
Saturday, 10th June 2023 – Members of the Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC) under the Faculty of Shari’ah and Law, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) along with 20 volunteers consisting of students from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA), has successfully conducted a community outreach programme named “Jalinan Kasih bersama SMARTER Brunei” at SMARTER Brunei, located in Kampung Perpindahan Mata-Mata, Gadong.
The event began with the attendance of members of the Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC), volunteers, teachers, as well as students from SMARTER Brunei followed by a briefing from Nur’Aliahtul Mumtazah @ Nur’Masitah Binti Suhhardie, a member of the Social Welfare Unit, Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC), regarding the general flow of the event as well as the regulations to be adhered to throughout the event. The briefing is then continued with a warm-up session which is led by Muhammad Shafiq Bin Iskandar, a member of the Logistics and Recreational Unit, Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC).
After that, the ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Muhammad Akmal Faiz Bin Jamal, Secretary of the Dakwah and Tarbiyyah Unit, Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC). The programme was then continued with a welcoming speech by Hana Hazirah binti Abdullah Abdul Aziz, Head of the Social Welfare Unit, Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC), followed by a speech from Afdah binti Haji Mahadi, on behalf of the President of SMARTER Brunei. Then, the programme continued with the gifting of the certificate of acknowledgement from the Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC) to SMARTER Brunei.
The opening ceremony ended with a photo session among members of the Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC), volunteers from UNISSA, teachers and students of the institution.
The programme included activities with SMARTER Brunei students which included leisure and entertainment activities such as “Dance and freeze”, “Emotion cards”, and colouring session. In addition to that, Members of the Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC) also held a cleaning campaign in the surrounding area of the institution, including the classrooms, backyard, playground, pool area and the cafeteria.
At the end of the event, the Shari’ah and Law Students’ Society (SHALAWSOC) presented the donations which were contributed by lecturers, staff and students of University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) to SMARTER Brunei followed by a photo session.
