This doctoral programme comprises an independent, extensive research project in halal management. Throughout the duration of the candidature, the appointed supervisor(s) and co-supervisor(s) provide supervision. This topic of research is concerned with the current management of halal products and services. The significance of this programme in comparison to other development management studies is that it focuses not only on the administration and management of halal products but also on its application to develop halal management through halalan thayyiban strategic management, policy, and standard, and their application towards local and global reach in the contemporary halal industry.
