HTSS  IN COLLABORATION WITH YEAR 4 STUDENT HELD COMPOSTING PROJECT 2024

Saturday, 24 January 2024 – The Halalan Thayyiban Student Society (HTSS) in collaboration with a Year 4 student, Mohammad Ali Fikri bin Hanafiah (20B0526) held an amazing composting project at UNISSA, Sinaut Campus. Its initiative is to introduce a compost system built in UNISSA as well as to build and encourage students to have a ‘green mindset’.

The purpose of this project is to deliver the message of sustainability, while simultaneously help to nourish our planet, as well as reducing landfill waste in Brunei Darussalam. This project also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goal 15; Life on Land — in which this project promotes the life of numerous habitats by reducing waste, restoring ecosystems, and fostering sustainability for our planet.

This project is done in hopes that UNISSA students could contribute to a more green, sustainable lifestyle.
