Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word. Author must upload the article in two format; without affiliation and with affiliation.
  • Manuscript and reference list according to the Chicago Manual of Style 17 (https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/ tools_citationguide/citation-guide-2.html). Any acknowledgement by the author without any grant must be state before references. Table and figures must be clear and sharp by using jpeg or tiff.
  • For Malay and English manuscript, should be in Times New Roman Font, 12 in size; and 1.5 spacing. For Arabic manuscript, should be in Traditional Arabic, 16 in size; and single-spacing.
  • Article may be written either in Arabic, Standard Malay or English languages and it should be typed in Microsoft Word.
  • The Length of the article should be not more than 8,000 words including the notes and references.
  • For a manuscript written in Malay or Arabic, the English version of its title, abstract, keywords, and bibliography or reference should be provided.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Transliteration of Arabic words should follow the style indicated in the author’s guideline.
