About the Journal
Al-Hikmah is a biannual (June & December), international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to Islamic studies. It is published by the Faculty of Shariah, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA), Brunei Darussalam. The name "AL-HIKMAH", meaning "Wisdom", is derived from the Arabic language. It reflects the journal’s mission to disseminate wisdom and knowledge, as inspired by the Quranic verse from Surah al-Baqarah (2:269):
"He gives wisdom to whom He wills."
As part of the global academic landscape, AL-HIKMAH provides a vital platform for researchers, scholars, and academics to share their findings.
