About This Issue (Volume 2, Issue 1, June 2026)

This issue contains six peer-reviewed scholarly articles specializing in Islamic legal studies (Sharīʿah studies). All papers underwent both internal and external review processes and were approved for publication following necessary academic and methodological revisions. Of the six articles published in this issue, four are from external contributors and two are from internal (in-house) researchers. The contributions include one article in English, one in Malay, and four in Arabic—reflecting the journal's commitment to respecting the university's three official languages and fostering scholarly communication and academic interaction across diverse linguistic and cultural communities.

The contributions in this issue cover a range of Sharīʿah-related topics, including:

- " Efforts to Counter Cognitive Colonialism from the Perspective of Ḥadīth and Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah: its Implications for Social Stability”

- "The Role of Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah in Addressing Contemporary Doctrinal Deviations"

- "The Role of Security in Preserving Religion"

- "The Importance of Artificial Intelligence for the Rightly Guided Muftī"

- "Bariatric Surgery between Lawful Medical Treatment and Its Impact on Devotional Obligations: Prayer as a Case Study"

- "The Islamic Moral Approach to International Relations"

Overall, these studies reflect the ongoing scholarly efforts of contemporary academics and researchers to connect contemporary and emerging issues with Sharīʿah studies and the higher objectives of Sharīʿah (Maqāṣid al- Sharīʿah).

حول هذا العدد (المجلّد 2، العدد 1 يونيو 2026)

يحتوي هذه العدد على ستّة بحوث علميّة متخصّصة في الدّراسات الشّرعيّة، حُكّمت جميعُها تحكيمًا داخيًّا وخارجيًّا، وأُجيزت جميعًا للنّشر مع بعضِ التعديلاتِ العلميّة والمنهجيّة. والبحوث الستة المنشورة في هذا العدد أربعة منها من الخارج، واثنان من الداخل. ومنها بحث باللغة الإنجليزيّة، وبحث باللغة الملايويّة، وأربعة بحوث باللغة العربيّة، مما يعكس حرص المجلّة على احترام لغات الجامعة الثلاثة، وتعزيز التواصل العلمي، والتفاعل الأكاديمي بين مختلف المجتمعات اللغوية والثقافية. وتغطّي إسهامات هذا العدد مجموعةً من المجلاتِ الشّرعيّةِ تحت الموضوعات التالية: "جهود مُواجهة الاستعمار المعرفي من منظور الحديث ومقاصد الشّريعة، وآثارها في الاستقرار الاجتماعي"، "دور مقاصد الشّريعة في معالجة الانحرافات العقديّة المعاصرة"، "دور الأمن في حفظ الدّين"، "أهمّيّة الذكاء الاصطناعي للمفتي الرّشيد"، "جراحة السمنة بين التّداوي المشروع وأثرها على التكاليف التعبّديّة: الصلاة نموذجًا"، "منهج الإسلام الأخلاقي في العلاقات الدّوليّة". وعمومًا، تعكس هذه البحوث الجهودَ العلميّةَ المتواصلةَ للأكاديميّين والباحثين المعاصرين في ربط القضايا المعاصرة والمستجدات بالدّراسات الشّرعيّةّ، ومقاصدِ الشّريعةِ.
