About the Journal

The journal accepts article submissions in three main languages—Malay, English, and Arabic—including research articles, book reviews, and critical essays.

The primary aim of the Journal of Islamic Manuscript Studies is to enrich academic discourse related to the scholarly heritage of Islam and to offer constructive insights into the cultural, historical, and intellectual value of Islamic manuscripts. The journal also aspires to benefit scholars, students, and the public, while further advancing the field of Islamic manuscript studies at both regional and international levels.
