The authors are English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers who formulated practical ideas that were carried out at their schools in different parts of Malaysia. In each chapter, the difficulties faced by either the teachers or the pupils are described. Following theses, some step-by-step ideas or intervention are given and elaborated to guide teachers in tackling pupils' specific difficulties in language learning. The pros and cons of these interventions are also discussed. Where necessary, pictures and illustrations are given to help readers to visualize the shared ideas and events. Jargons are kept to a minimum to ensure effortless and more enjoyable reading.
