505 | _aThis manual attempts to summarise the results of some five years of experiments to provide economic on-the-spot consultancy to small businesses in developing countries. The initial stages of the work were carried out in Kenya by myself and by Partnership For Productivity, and some subsequent experiments have been carried out in Brazil, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. The results, and the techniques which have been developed, cannot claim to be universally applicable, since every country, and every type of business in every country, is different. The emphasis is on adaptation and selection of whatever appears to be useful in a particular situation. | ||
