For certain, Abdulaziz was influenced by the circumstances and eventful period of history he went through. The desert environment in which he grew up harnessed in him traits of caution, seriousness, determination and dedication to the revivalist and reformist mission he was later to undertake. Abdulaziz was a man of high aspirations, who could not be content with small achievements.
