Subject(s): LOC classification:
  • BP193.5 S243 R84 2007
Summary: Defending the Companions and their Family from the Slander of the Deviant Samawi: In recent years, and after the failure of the call for rapprochement, we have seen the Rafidah reveal their true face, in a new, cunning manner, represented by an unknown man with no known reputation in the world of knowledge. He claimed that he was a Sunni and that Allah guided him to the Rafidah doctrine. He then began correcting the Rafidah doctrine, calling for it, attacking the Sunni doctrine and alienating people from it. This was in addition to greatly slandering the noble Companions, accusing them of disbelief and apostasy from Islam. He did this by authoring a number of books that he disseminated among the people after filling them with lies, falsehoods, fabrications and misinformation. This man is known as Dr. Muhammad al-Tijani al-Samawi, and he mentioned in his self-description that he is from Tunisia. On the covers of his books, under his name, is the phrase “Doctorate in Philosophy from the Sorbonne University in Paris.” This letter is a response to the book "Then I Was Guided", which is considered one of his most deceptive and misleading books. The author has followed all its issues and refuted all its doubts.
