This report is designed to facilitate investment decision making and is intended for use by those interested in the establishment of a vegetable dehydration industry in developing countries. The basis of this report is a series of physical and financial cost models. Factor costs pertinent to a particular developing country have been applied for purposes of analysis. However, the physical requirements of the models have been set out so that users of the report can apply factor costs appropriate to their own locality.
