ISLAM DI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM is to reveal the past history of Brunei Darussalam, especially the arrival and development of Islam in Brunei Darussalam, its effects and the role of Brunei Darussalam in the spread of Islam in the archipelago. Although this matter is still vague and tangled, this book tries to explain the ambiguity and tangle critically so that Brunei Darussalam, a country that once forged its golden age, can be seen quite clearly.
In the last part of this book is devoted to the discussion about the effects of Islam itself in Brunei Darussalam which shows that Islam is not only in name but there are signs that its teachings are lived and adhered to in Brunei Darussalam at the government level and in everyday life. With this it is clear that the expression that says Brunei Darussalam as an 'Islamic Malay Sultanate' which has existed continuously since its emergence in the middle of the 14th century until the 17th century and even until the 20th century is a statement because there are facts that support it.
