Abstract: This research attempts to unravel the importance of muslim youth and their role in the development of society based on Al-Quran & Al-Hadith. In analysing the data of this project I have applied Objective and Comprehensive analysis as well as conducted research through interviews, which are included in all the 4 chapters. In the first chapter, I have analysed all the verses in Al- Quran & some Hadith that are either directly related or have some relation to the title of my research whilst highlighting the important role of muslim youth as well as underlining good morals for guidance to prepare them for a challenging life. In the second chapter I will describe methods on building a good personality. The third chapter depicts the golden period of our prophet Mohammad S.A.W. and his followers and explains how the events that occur during these period could influence and motivate our youth in the development of society in the modern civilization. Finally in the last chapter, the important role of muslim youth in Brunei Darussalam is highlighted through various activities that has been organized in line with our country’s philosophy Malay, Islamic, Monarch (M.I.B.). The conclusion summarises the four chapters and provides recommendations and references.
