Abstract

Covering the aurah is the command of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala which must be obeyed by every Muslim, especially for Muslim women to cover their aurah perfectly. The objective of this research is to know the aurah of the Muslim women thoroughly when with other than Muslim women because there is a special border between them. In this discussion, the author will explain how the restriction of a Muslim woman's own body and when dealing with others. Similarly, about Muslim women’s aurah, whether in trading or in the aspects of social life. However, there have been the opinions of different Imam and scholars of the Mazhab. Therefore, there has been a confusion for Muslim women in determining the limits of their aurah. Therefore, it is hoped that this discussion will be able to identify more clearly in the opinion of the four Imam Mazhab and the scholars' and the existing fatwa. The methodology of this study is based on the Qur'an and the verses to be explained in more detail as well as with reference books. And the results of this research is most of the Imam of Mazhab have a difference of opinion on the limits of Muslim women’s aurah in this situation. In conclusion, with this discussion, it can provide a deeper and more effective understanding in maintaining the limits of the Muslim women’s aurah in certain circumstances.
