dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study is to find out the communication level of Arabic language among secondary school students of Arabic Schools in Brunei Darussalam. The study is a descriptive analytical using three instruments as the research tools that are questionnaire, interview and observation. The results of the study concluded that communication in Arabic Language among the students and teachers does exist whereby almost all teachers understand meaning of the communication in language form and aware of its existence in school, teachers also agree that it is necessary to have guide books for teaching Arabic Language especially for non-native speakers of Arabic as well as for the purpose of communication. Besides, the study also determined the methods to improve and enrich the usage of Arabic Language through suitable learning activities and teaching aids and also determined the adequacy of teaching distribution and availability of syllabus contribution for those purposes. The main contributions of this study include identifying the status of communication using Arabic Language in Arabic Schools, identifying learning activities inside and outside the classroom and the use of teaching aids as well as the effective teaching methods. In addition, the study also identified the methods or motivations used to encourage teachers and students to use Arabic for communication purposes.en_US
