Abstract: This study is aimed at reviewing the legal standing of the two pillars of Islam namely prayer and fasting during Ramadan in the Syariah Criminal Code 2013 and the Islamic Religious Council Act of 77, Brunei Darussalam. This survey is based on research from library sources related to Islamic legal explanation and also in the Islamic Penal Code. The study found that the Syariah Criminal Code 2013 and the Islamic Religious Council Act No.77 provided a chapter on prayer, especially Friday prayers and a chapter on fasting in Ramadan. The law has already encompassed the issue of the abandonment and penalties upon conviction. Therefore, this study will present about the law leaving 2 pillars of Islam is prayers and fasting in Ramadan. So that, the public will know the law to abandon it and also in law in Brunei Darussalam.
