Abstract

In this research, the researcher will discuss the right way to choose and select a good bride or groom in Islam followed by the basic rules and the importance of marriage in Islam itself. The researcher also explains the guide to choose the right spouse in the way of Islam and the practices in Brunei Darussalam as well as the concept of competibility in marriage, its rules and the importance of competibility. In the last chapter, the effects from choosing a bad spouse is also mentioned in this research, as well as the effects from choosing the right spouse. The researcher employs library research and conducting a survey.
