Abstract

This paper discusses about the prevention of risk or in term of objective of Syariah, it is called “Sadd Al-Zarai‘” which aims to assist Muslim community to prevent risks which could affect the main five necessities which are religion, soul, mind, generation, and property. It focuses on the main purpose of prevention the risks which are to extract the measures to be taken based on the Islamic guideline. This prevention is a priority in order to maintain all the necessities above by which if there is no prevention then there would be no peace, safety and well-being, and the most people would live in chaos without guidance from The Almighty Allah. Therefore, this paper would present opinions from the four schools of Mazhab on the measures based on Islamic guideline. This paper contributes the explanations in detail which simplifies other readers in understanding it in depth.
