Abstract: It is well-known that almsgiving is the fourth rule of the Islamic pillars. And so, almsgiving is compulsory to be done by each and every single muslim. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has commanded all fellow muslims to give out their alms because there are portions of other muslims’ share in every property that a muslim owned. This Academic Writing is entitled “Wife Giving Out Alms (Zakat) To Her Husband”. It is a small part of zakat based in the shariah practice. This topic will conclude about the wife’s practice of almsgiving in Islam. In Chapter One, this writing will preach the basics of almsgiving in Islam. As for Chapter Two, this writing will elaborate on the almsgiving administration and practice in Negara Brunei Darussalam. And, in Chapter Three, this academic writing will conclude the basics and some issues of the topic itself. The methodology in completing this academic writing is by doing researches from the religious books (Fiqh) and from the internet with regards to the information of the almsgiving practice in Brunei Darussalam and some related issues of the topic. The purpose of this academic writing is to comprehend about almsgiving as stated in shariah and to learn about the right of a wife to give out her alms to her husband. And, we will also see that this practice (Wife Giving Out Alms To Her Husband) is a way to help a poor husband to carry out his responsibilities. In Shaa Allah. It is hoped this academic writing will benefit the readers.
