Abstract

The research deals with the topic of “the provisions of expiation for murder and their comparison in the law of Brunei Darussalam.” How expiation for murder is applied in Islamic law is analyzed, with a focus on the legal foundations and mechanisms followed. The provisions of expiation for murder in Brunei Darussalam law and the differences and similarities between the two legal systems are also reviewed. The research aims to understand the challenges and developments in applying atonement for murder in the legal and legal contexts, and to highlight the various aspects and compare them to identify differences and similarities in concepts and applications.
