Abstract
Executing punishment is very important to prevent evil, and it is very important in the life of society, religion and country. This research relates to jurisprudence and law in terms of its definition, cause and purpose. It deals with the crime of "smuggling" in all its forms, Islam attaches great importance to peace, well-being and harmony in family, society and national life. Therefore, in order to combat and prevent the occurrence of cross-border crimes and smuggling in this country, among the government security agencies entrusted with this and accountable: the Royal Administration of Customs and Excise. This is to ensure that goods entering or leaving the country are safe and have permits in order to take care of the problems and welfare of the community, especially with regard to restricted and restricted goods. The research is divided into two chapters: the first chapter explains the provisions of smuggling goods in Islamic jurisprudence and Brunei law, and the second chapter reveals mechanisms for combating smuggling of goods in Islamic jurisprudence and Brunei law. The research followed the method in terms of scientific books and general knowledge, as well as the current media. The research reached a set of results, summarized in terms of punishing the perpetrators of illegal goods smuggling activities and violations of Brunei laws issued in Brunei Darussalam. Islamic science also gives about this smuggling that society is still ignorant of the consequences of committing such crimes.
