Abstract
Prayer is the primary obligation in the Islamic faith that requires good understanding and implementation. However, many are still unaware of common mistakes often made by women during prayer. Knowledge of these mistakes is beneficial not only for women but also for husbands and fathers to understand how they can provide better guidance and support to their family members in practicing prayer correctly. Therefore, the objective of the researcher in this study is to assess the extent to which students of University Sultan Sharif Ali are aware of the common mistakes made by women during prayer, both consciously and unconsciously. To achieve this objective, the author utilized a research methodology consisting of two methods: Gathering information from various reference sources discussing the opinions of the Imam Shafi’i and other relevant references on the topic of study, focusing on evidence and proofs from the Qur'an and Sunnah, and conducting a field study for a survey to assess the level of awareness among the students regarding this topic. Based on the findings of this study shows that nearly 9% of respondents who still have uncertainties about the rules and regulations regarding women's prayers. Therefore, the researcher hopes that the knowledge presented in this study can help the general public in addressing questions about some of the rules and regulations of prayer.
