Abstract
This study, titled "The Concept of Halal Among Traders in Gadong Market," emphasizes that conscious traders must ensure that the products they offer are halal and legitimate, without any violations of Islamic law. According to this concept, traders must be transparent and honest in all business activities, avoiding fraud, manipulation, and unethical transactions. Additionally, traders should strive to provide high-quality products at reasonable prices, adhering to standards of integrity and fairness in dealing with customers. These values and principles reflect the concept of halal in the market, which aims to achieve profit through legitimate and ethically accepted means. This study shows the extent of the understanding of the halal concept among the people in Brunei. The study contains three chapters, with each chapter divided into several sections. The information required for this study relies on the descriptive library method, referring to sources and fiqh books. In conclusion, this study presents the practical application of the halal concept in business at Gadong Market and its importance in ensuring that the products offered are halal and legitimate according to Islamic law. It is hoped that this study will be useful and beneficial to the Muslim community, especially in Brunei Darussalam.
