Abstract

The provision of Friday prayer is an important aspect of Islamic law that requires a deep understanding of Friday prayer and its importance in the lives of Muslims. However, there are various problems encountered in its implementation, including the issue of understanding the procedures for Friday prayers, lack of awareness of the importance of Friday prayers. This thesis investigates the solution to these problems through an educational approach and a deeper understanding of Friday prayers. In addition, there are legal differences between schools of thought regarding the implementation of Friday prayers. Next, some sunan practices that are recommended either before or after Friday prayers. This thesis also examines the punishment for offenders given to anyone who abandons Friday prayers subject to the situation faced by a Muslim or other than that it is guided by the sharia criminal law act. and with full hope that it can help Muslims in understanding the importance of Friday prayers, especially in the country of Brunei Darussalam.
