Abstract

This research aims to explain the concept of payment implementation in Islamic Banks and Conventional Banks and the perception of Brunei Darussalam people about it in the hope that this scientific exercise can provide benefit and understanding to the public in general and the people of Brunei in particular because this is related to community life. Researchers also use variations of the induction method, including information found in contemporary Fiqh Muamalat books, through field research methods and also the internet. In order to achieve that goal, the first chapter focuses on the definition of Islamic Bank and Conventional Bank, its emergence, its motives, its system and the differences between the two banks. The second chapter discusses the introduction of 'AtTamwil (financing) as well as its importance, its role and the difference between financing, investment and borrowing. While the third chapter explains the implementation of financing in Islamic Banks and Conventional Banks, its form and risks. The last chapter will discuss and analyze the perception of the people of Brunei Darussalam regarding the title based on a research study.
