Abstract
Islamic law (The Shariah) provides considerable flexibility in dealing with modern Islamic financial transactions in terms of providing sufficient space for the invention of new contracts, as long as we do not contravene the basic principles of Islamic law. Among the new contracts that appeared today are the supply contracts and tenders that are used by many in the countries over the world. Supply contracts and tenders play an important role in Islamic financial transactions, and there are particular and specific ways to implement them properly. This research consists of four chapters, and each chapters has several sections. As for the research materials, it relies on the descriptive library approach, by referring to the sources of the Islamic books of fiqh (Jurisprudence). This research aims to deliver knowledge and understanding of the supply contracts and tenders in Islamic financial transactions. Assuredly, it is hoped that this research will be useful and beneficial to the Muslim community, mainly in Brunei Darussalam.
