Abstract

The content of this graduate research is about Marital Relations Disturbances: Causes and Treatments in Islamic Law. This research begins with the general concept of the reality of marital relations and their principles in Islam, as well as the concept of the inconveniences of marital relations. Then it contains the reasons for the occurrence of disturbances in marital relations according to the specific categories, and finally it contains a chapter on methods of treatments. This study aims to increase knowledge and expand its scope and identify the causes of disturbances and problems that occurred in the married family. In addition to explaining the reasons for the troubles of marital relations, the researcher also explains in this study how to treat these troubles, and the researcher also introduced some of the methods used by the Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) in the Prophet's family in dealing with the problems and conflicts that occurred in the Prophet's family. Thus, this academic exercise is based on the analytical descriptive approach and references to the main sources, Al-Quran Al-Karim and The Prophet’s Sunnah as well as references from books in library, previous studies and internet which are related to the topic. The results of the study reached to know the reasons for the disturbances of marital relations and ways to treat them from the things that people, especially the spouses, need to clarify with their legal evidence, as well as by following the methods used by the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) in their treatment. Therefore, married couples and every person who wants to get married should learn these methods.
