Abstract
Allah wants the law of these punishments to preserve five important things: religion, mind, life, property, and descendants. One of the punishments in Islamic Law is Hudud Punishment. This study summarizes that hudud is divided into the hadd of adultery, the hadd of accusing adultery, the hadd of stealing, the hadd of drinking alcohol, the hadd of robbery, the hadd of apostasy, and the hadd of rebellion. Each hadd has its own methods of punishment in Islamic law. This study contains three topics, and each topic is divided into several sections. The information for this study was obtained from library reading materials referring to the books of Fiqh. In conclusion, this study provides insight into the implementation of hudud punishments in Islamic law and its significance in preserving the five important aspects mentioned earlier. It is hoped that this study will be beneficial to the Muslim community, particularly in Brunei Darussalam.
