Abstract

A major issue in today's society is the increase in social problems among teenagers. Adultery is one of the serious societal issues that affects a lot of children and can harm their morality and sense of self. Consequently, the goal of this study is to determine what influences Muslim youth in Brunei Darussalam, particularly teenagers, to become caught up in the symptoms of adultery and its negative impacts on society. According to the study's findings, there are a number of factors that contribute to young people's involvement in the symptoms of adultery that affect young people in Brunei Darussalam, including a lack of religious education, poor parental involvement, media and peer influence, and a lack of parental attention. The loss of shame, the spread of illness, the birth of illegitimate children are just a list of some of the negative effects of adultery. Thus, it is crucial to conduct this study in order to comprehend the signs of adultery that are becoming more prevalent among teenagers today.
