Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the topic of "aurah (modest attire) of Muslimah and non-Muslim women" through a comparative study. The study compares the perspectives of different Islamic schools of thought regarding the concept of aurah for Muslimahs and non-Muslim women. The study delves into the understanding of aurah and its boundaries within the context of interactions between Muslimahs and non-Muslim women. It explores the variations in interpretations and practices among different Islamic schools of thought, such as the Maliki, Hanafi, Shafi'i, and Hanbali schools. The different opinions of the four sects on this topic is an important aspect to be researched and analyzed carefully. The analysis focuses on the determination of areas that are considered aurat by each sect and the determination of its boundaries, as well as the syar'i arguments used by each sect in understanding this problem. This research is an important contribution in understanding the concept of aurat and its interpretation in Islam, as well as highlighting the differences and similarities between the views of the four schools of thought. This research helps improve dialogue and mutual understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims, as well as contributing to building bridges of harmonious life and mutual respect between various cultures.
