Abstract
The production of beauty and health Halal products has been widely produced with the passage of time, business competition and products are increasing in the world of marketing so that many buyers or consumers are deceived by the products that have been produced without examining the safety of the product in terms of quality, effectiveness and product authenticity. A total of three business entrepreneurs and three officials from government agencies were selected and included as a sample in this study. This study uses literature as well as a qualitative methods (by interview) by using primary sources where the researcher himself goes down to the field, where all the information source materials and data of the study are obtained and collected themselves. The objective of the study aims to identify the Importer Issues of Beauty and Health Halal Products under the Laws of Brunei Darussalam in terms of procedures to be followed from the beginning of importation to marketing of products, duties and responsibilities and roles of each government and non-government agencies and also the fines that can be imposed on offenders under the Medicines Order, 2007. The findings of the study showed that the Royal Brunei Police Force, Royal Customs and Excise Department and the Brunei Darussalam Food Authority, the Ministry of Health are the government agencies involved in regulating products from entering Brunei Darussalam. The information from the public on social media and non-governmental agencies plays an important role in strengthening cooperation between interested agencies. The Ministry of Health (through the Brunei Medical Board or better known as the 'Brunei Medical Board') which is always actively monitoring and investigating illegal activities related to beauty and health products will call the Royal Brunei Police Force (PPDB) to discuss and make an Operational Plan to conduct Integrated Operations and conduct investigations on offenders who have been arrested.
