Abstract

This research aims to detail and clarify the provisions related to children in inheritance according to the opinion of the four Mazhab with evidence from the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic hadiths. The researcher uses various jurisprudence books to obtain various rulings related to children in inheritance. Children's inheritance rights are sometimes neglected due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of these provisions. The lack of references on this matter is also a factor in this neglect. Lack of knowledge in this matter can also make the rights of those entitled to fall into the wrong hands. As a result of this research, the researcher found that there are a number of issues related to children's inheritance provisions that are rarely discussed, such as the provision of the inheritance of a young child, the provision of the inheritance of a child who is the murderer, the provision of the child from adultery, and so on. With the presence of this research, the researcher hopes to help and facilitate people to understand clearly and increase their knowledge about provisions related to children, especially in inheritance.
