Abstract

The provisions on maintnance give solutions to socio-economic problems from the core of daily life, which the Muslim community is exposed to at the level of the family. Moreover, maintenance is one of the obligatory rights, so every Muslim must know it in detail in obedience to God Almighty, clearing his obligation, and performing what he borrowed. The organization and realization of economic life is one of the purposes of Sharia, because it is an important matter in human life, so that after that he proceeds towards good and giving, in order to revive the caliphate of God Almighty in his land, and thus lead him to failure to obey God Almighty in all human beings. That God Almighty has enjoined the provision and clothing of mothers upon the newborn. In this research, God willing, permission will explain a little about this topic about the maintenance of an orphan in Islamic jurisprudence and Bruneian law in section 217. I did my best to study, investigate and comment on it. If I was right, it is from God Almighty, and if I wrong, then it is from me, and I seek forgiveness from God Almighty. Feel thanks to my research on this possible on a little point but useful.
