Abstract

This Research aims are to uncover and explain the Israiliyyat (Jewish sources) found in Surah Al-Kahf. The author follows two method which are descriptive method and literature method in achieving that goal to deliver this research. The author points-out the fact from Jewish sources, its origination, and everything that are related to the subject by using an inductive approach. While in objective approach, the author was able to learn stories that is found in Surah al- Kahf such as the story of the famous Ashabul Kahf,the story of Prophet Moses (Peace be upon him), the story of Zulqarnain and Gog Magog. The result of this research indicates that not all of the Jewish sources are true or false, the sources are indeed more likely to the unspecified. Therefore, a deep investigation in the sources should be done before deciding to take from Jewish history in order to preserve the value of Al-Quran Al-Kareem
