Abstract

This research aims to identify the maids’ rights in Islam. The researcher follows the inductive and analytical approach to reach the objective of this research; by inductive approach the researcher will be able to collect informations from reference sources found in heritage books and articles which is related to maid’s rights in Islam. Whereas, the analytical approach will be able to differentiate between slaves and maids. The finding of this study shows that maids have their own rights and obligations and also there is differences between slaves and maids. But note that the differences between slaves and maids are not many and the rights are not specify into certain rights for example religious rights. Therefore, this research represents some suggestions recommended by the researcher so that it would be used in writing another research in the future.
