Gejala Sosial dalam Kalangan Remaja dan Penyelesaian di bawah Gagasan Negara Zikir

Abstract

In the efforts of Brunei Darussalam in achieving Negara Zikir, there are various obstacles and trials that need to be dealt, among them are the social issues among the teenagers. The increase in number of social issues among the teenagers are alarming each year. Hence, this research focuses on identifying social problems and the solutions for these problem according to the idea of Negara Zikir. Data collection for this research will be interviewing the study samples among the residents and staff of the Taman Nur Hidayah Welfare Home Complex and documentation from the Welfare Home Complex, libraries from local universities, State Mufti Office and Economic Planning and Development Department. Data analysis are descriptively and using the Nvivo 12 application. The research findings show that the social problems happen nowadays are steal, rape, incest and drug abuse. The causes of these social problems are the parents' lack of responsibilities towards their children, the influences of the internet and companions, the lack of Islamic practicing in daily life and negative surrounding. While the solutions of these problems according to the idea of Negara Zikir are by setting a curfew towards the teenagers and a parents patrol to make sure that there are no teenagers wandering around without their guardians and in addition, replacing the non-beneficial activities with religious activities, suggesting the parents to seek more knowledge about parenting, encouraging teenagers especially the released residents of the Welfare Home Complex to join the Mosque Youth Group and asserted the role of teachers in the school not to discriminate the students.
