Abstract

The study of Dato Seri Setia (D.S.S) leader Dr Haji Mohammad bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman and his Contribution to Brunei Darussalam History is a study of his writing, research and research work on his contribution to Brunei Darussalam history. This study contains three clauses. The first clause highlights the biodata of Pengiran Dato. The second clause discusses his writing and research related to the history of Brunei Darussalam and the third clause, discusses his contributions in general to Brunei Darussalam. This qualitative study aims to highlight the writing books by Pengiran D.S.S Dr Haji Mohammad on the history of Islamic development in Brunei Darussalam by using a descriptive approach and interviews as well as analyzing the writing of the figure to achieve the objectives of the study. The results of this study show that Pengiran D.S.S Dr Haji Mohammad is a figure who emphasizes the authenticity of the historical facts of Brunei Darussalam until he produced several articles related to the history of Brunei which is widely published in the official magazines and newspapers of Brunei Darussalam. The ideas of figures about the history of Brunei are also produced in the form of poetry.
