Abstract
Laqit or abandoned child is an abandoned children or babies which father is unknown and no one claimed for them as a children. There will be explanation in hukum related to Laqit from Islamic perspective backed with Al-Quran and Al Sunnah through the views of scholars in Fiqh. And what is related with Laqit from the Laws of Brunei in allocated acts and orders. Library-based research is used to complete this academic exercise in which the writer benefits a lot in the form of reading, research and knowledge in books of Fiqh and related acts and orders implemented in Brunei. The result of this research is an important explanation and knowledge to the writer and readers to the matters of Laqit, the similarities and differences in views of scholars and what is related to Laqit from Laws of Brunei’s perspective.
