Abstract
Calling to Allah is an obligation on anyone who carries the Word “Laa Ilaaha Illa Allah Muhammad Rasulu Allah” (There is no God except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah) according to their calling plan that is by following Allah’s orders, the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him) and moving on the path of the Companions (May Allah be pleased with them) their followers and the followers of the followers. This is what al-Tabligh Group attempting to implement in its purposes. This research discusses the founder of Al-Tabligh Group, its objectives, means, the number of Al-Tabligh Group Centres in Nepal, its calling activity, such as the outing (al-khuruj), learning circles in Mosques and houses, general and special outings, the role of scholars (‘ulama) in outing with al-Tabligh Group in Nepal, visits that we performed with al-Tabligh Group, the impact of al-Tabligh Group in Nepalese society, the obstacles of Islamic call (da’awah) in Nepal and how to overcome them, the position of supporters and opposers from Nepal and abroad towards the Group, and the future calling view in order to overcome the calling obstacles after the declaration of the country’s new constitution in October 2015. The researcher relied in fulfilling this research on the Descriptive, Analytical and Critical Methods through library and field studies considering scholarly trust and subjectivity in description, analysis and criticism. Among the results that the research concluded is the suitability of al-Tabligh Group in terms of methodology and the implementation in the field of calling (da’wah) in Nepal that is having Hindu majority in one hand, and the spread of opposing trend against Islam in the whole world in another hand.
