<title>منهج تدريس علم الصرف في جامعة السلطان الشريف علي الإسلامية: دراسة وصفية تقويمية</title>

This research aims to identify the effectiveness of the morphology teaching curriculum at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam. This research is a descriptive and evaluative study. The researcher distributed a questionnaire to all fifty-five students who had studied morphology at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam in 2019 and 2020. The introduction is presented in chapter one, and the literature review is written in chapter two, which is divided into two sections: morphology and curriculum. In chapter three, the researcher described and evaluated the course book&#13;
taught in the bachelor's degree program. In Chapter 4, the researcher presented the research methodology and procedures between the research methodology, sample characteristics, and a tool for collecting the data for this research. Then the researcher analysed that in a quantitative, descriptive, and evaluative manner in Chapter 5, in addition to identifying positive and negative aspects of the curriculum, to get the&#13;
expected results. The study concluded the research by summarising it into a set of findings and recommendations, in addition to making a recommendation to improve the positive aspects and revise the negative aspects that would help the development of the morphology teaching curriculum at that university. This research has shown the results that were reviewed at the conclusion. The most important of them are the&#13;
objectives of the curriculum, teaching methods, and teaching aids, which do not need modification but need to be strengthened and sustained in the teaching and learning process as planned in the curriculum followed, while the content of the curriculum needs to be modified and maintained, and the evaluation system needs to be reviewed and updated continuously.

This study aims to identify students errors in using the plural among Malay students in&#13;
Arabic secondary schools in Brunei Darussalam, to identify the causes of these errors,&#13;
and then make suggestions to correct these errors when using the plural. The researcher&#13;
chose two schools: first, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious&#13;
Secondary School, where the researcher selected a sample of female students in Arabic&#13;
stream with a total of 136 female students from year 8, and the second is Temburong&#13;
Arabic Preparatory school, which consists of 18 male and female students from year 8&#13;
and they are in Arabic stream as well. This research is a quantitative descriptive&#13;
research, where the researcher asks the students of the selected sample to write a&#13;
composition, and then collect papers from them. After that, the researcher starts with&#13;
analyzing the errors, especially in using plurals. A total of 154 errors were analyzed,&#13;
the researcher used five stages in analyzing errors: first, identifying errors, second&#13;
describing errors, third counting the repetition of errors, fourth interpreting errors, and&#13;
finally correcting errors. The result of this research shows that errors in using plural,&#13;
which are often experienced by students in order as follows: errors in Jama’ Taksir,&#13;
errors in Jama’ Muannath Salim, errors in using Third Pronoun, and lastly errors in&#13;
Jama’ Mudzakkar Salim. The reasons for these errors are because of language transfer,&#13;
evolutionary reasons, as well as psychological reasons. The study concluded some&#13;
suggestions for teachers and students for improving Arabic Language.

<summary type="text">الضمائر ودلالاتها النحوية والبلاغية في أحاديث الأربعين النووية: دراسة تحليلية

This study discuss the analysis of pronouns in terms of grammar and rhetoric in the Forty Hadiths of al-Nawawi. This title cover two main subjects, such as grammar and rhetoric. It focuses on the pronouns that have been mention in the text of the Forty Hadiths of al-Nawawi without the context. It depends on the descriptive analysis method. The study contains an introduction and followed by five chapters then a conclusion and bibliography. The first chapter is about the basics of the study which contains the definition of the title, problem statement, research question, research objective, the importance of research, literature reviews, scope of the research, methodology and terminology. The second chapter is about the background of Imam Al-Nawawi and his book Forty Hadith al-Nawawi. While the third chapter identifies the meaning of pronouns, their division and the meaning implied in it, and also the terms of pronouns and their position. The fourth chapter contain the analysis of pronouns in the Forty Hadiths of al-Nawawi in terms of grammar, which are the Overt Pronouns (الضمائر البارزة ), the Covert Pronouns (الضمائر المستترة ) and Pronoun of Matter (ضمير الشأن ). The fifth and the last chapter touches on the definition of rhetoric, importance and purpose of studying rhetoric and also the position of Hadith and the characteristics of prophetic rhetoric, then the analysis of rhetorical secrets in pronouns, such as poem, precede the predicate and subject, declarative sentence and Iltifat. Lastly, the summarization of this study conclude with the results and the recommendations of this study and ended with the sources and references. The end result of this study, we can identify the frequency of using pronouns in the Forty Hadiths of al-Nawawi and the main result is the understanding of pronouns in detail, in which it will make the students master in case “I’rab”, especially in pronouns. They must know and understand the pronouns in terms of rhetoric as well, because high knowledge and accurate understanding of prophetic eloquence is not possible except by learning further about the science of rhetoric.

The present study aims to analyse mistakes among Arabic Secondary Schools students in Brunei Darussalam in translating pronouns from Malay to Arabic. Therefore, this study uses descriptive analysis approach. Tools, such as questionnaires and translation exercises, are used to analyse the translation mistakes and causes using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The present study also randomly selected 180 Arabic Secondary Schools students as the sample for this study, of which 65 of them are students at Rimba Arabic School, and the remaining 115 students are studying at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Arabic Religious Secondary School. The results show that incorrect translation of the pronoun’s gender and its number and omission of pronouns in the translations are some of the primary common mistakes made by the students. Therefore, the present study suggests that students and teachers must do translation practices more often by providing various translation exercises and activities in the Arabic language and translation classroom.
